A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering with experience in systems/application development and OpenGL is strongly desired. Recent college graduates with an eagerness to gain such experience will also be considered. U.S. Citizenship is required. Applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Professional Requirements:
Experience developing real-time 3D graphics applicationsSolid professional experience in object-oriented software design and developmentIn-depth knowledge of advanced language concepts in C and C++Proven ability to design, develop, and test complex products with multiple interrelated components and algorithms under tight deadlinesOperational understanding of the software engineering lifecycle and ability to transition from requirements to design and to implementation efficientlyAbility to take a project concept and bring it to completion while working independently or in a groupExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and skills:
OpenGL, GLSL, DirectXC/C++, MS Visual Studio, GNU development environmentObject-Oriented (OO) software design and development. Design Patterns, UML, Inheritance and Encapsulation, TemplatesExperience with scene-graphs such as OSG, NVSG, or Vega PrimeGIS concepts
