RSC’s SimHDR-EO at ITEC 2015

Renaissance Sciences Corporation (RSC) and Esterline will once again combine expertise and technology at this year’s ITEC conference, the annual international hot spot for military training, education and simulation sectors. Attendees of the conference to be held from April 28-30, 2015 in Prague, Czech Republic, are invited to view RSC’s versatile NVG software product, SimHDR-EO, in Esterline Booth A3-300.

RSC will demonstrate its SimHDR-EO NVG product integrated into Diamond Visionics’ (DVC) GenesisIG for a realistic physics-based NVG stimulation using Esterline projectors. The demonstration will include a high-resolution, large area terrain database with accurate lighting effects stimulating NVG goggles in Esterline’s newest transportable dome system. Specific highlights of the demonstration included:

  • 4-color (dedicated IR channel) NVG stimulation on the world’s highest resolution and brightest LED projector for Night Vision Goggle stimulation (Barco FS35 IR Series)
  • Display of highly detailed and accurate physics-based illumination and atmospheric models in DVC’s GenesisIG
  • Realistic urban lighting effects
  • Accurate high-dynamic range rendering and environmental effects
  • Results of RSC’s rapid database generation services

“We are extremely excited to be demonstrating our latest NVG capabilities inside of Esterline’s newest deployable visual system at ITEC,”  said Bob Kuehne, President of RSC. “The combination of Esterline’s high-performance mobile visual system with RSC’s physically-accurate and affordable NVG stimulation products provides amazing simulation value and capability to our customers and our simulation partners.”
